Split-Squat with Banded Adductor (Trail Foot)

Set-up instructions

  • Place The Force Pedal in P1 (Position 1), inside foot forward.
  • Set The Force Band even with belly button.
  • Athlete places band around inside of lead leg, proximal to knee joint.

Performance notes & cues

  • Pedal in P1 enhances application of Vertical and A/P shear forces during loading of the back hip.
  • Pedal in P1 promotes feedback of optimal positioning of the trail foot’s point of force application during the backswing/back hip loading.
  • Ensure hips stay parallel to the working thigh throughout entire range of motion.
